Refund Policy
Last updated: December 2, 2025
1. Non-Refundable Deposit
All projects require a 50% down payment deposit to begin work. This deposit is used to reserve production time and initiate project development and is non-refundable under all circumstances.
2. Eligibility for Refund of Final Payment
At the completion of the project, if you believe the services provided did not deliver the value paid for, you may request a refund of the final 50% payment. Refund requests must be made within 7 days of final delivery of project files.
3. Effect of Refund on Usage Rights
If a refund of the final payment is approved:
- You will retain 100% ownership of the composition (publishing) rights.
- You must remove the sound recording from all commercial platforms (including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and other streaming or digital services).
- You will no longer have commercial release rights to the sound recording produced by Beacon Music Co.
4. New Royalty Agreement Upon Refund
Upon approval of a refund, a new agreement will be executed that governs any future commercial use of the sound recording. Under this agreement:
- You, the artist, will receive 50% of all commercial royalties generated by the sound recording.
- Beacon Music Co. and its parent company, Harton Productions LLC, will receive 50% of all commercial royalties generated by the sound recording.
This policy is intended to provide protection for artists who believe the final product does not meet expectations, while maintaining fair compensation for work completed by Beacon Music Co.
